1985 Canada Moose National Parks Silver Coin


New in case. This coin was struck for the centennial of Canada's first national park in 1985. It is one of the Royal Canadian's Mint's most popular wildlife silver dollar proofs. This one-year-only design features a majestic moose on the coin's reverse. The animal is shown drinking in a clear lake. Trees on the opposite shore are reflected in the water. A towering mountain range concludes the scene of unspoiled nature. The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Finest-proof minting, and comes with a display box and outer slip box. The design is by Montreal artist Karel Roblicek. Composition: 500 silver; diameter 36.07 mm; and weight: 23.33 g. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
